This stunning 2-bedroom, 2-bath Cascadian-style home comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Gorge from the many oversized windows and glass doors throughout the home or while soaking in the private patio hot tub.
The Bluff House has been designed with the finest touches. This vacation rental home features hydronic floor heat, heated tile floors in the bathrooms, rustic gas fireplace, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, satellite TV and WiFi, leather furniture, quality linens and beautiful windows.
Enjoy watching life on the Columbia River gracefully pass by – Windsurfing, Sailing, Kite Boarding, Fishing, Sternwheelers and shipping traffic abounds! Eagles, Osprey and a variety of waterfowl are ever present. Take a stroll down to our private riverside coves for shoreline water fun, relaxation, outstanding wildlife viewing, swimming, and picnicking.
The Bluff House shares a private cul-de-sac, away from the rest of the property, with The Beacon Rock and Sternwheeler Condos. The condos are two separate units sharing the same building, divided by a soundproof wall. They are mirror images of each other and sleep 4-6 each, with similar amenities.

Property Description
The Riverhouse is Skamania Coves’ most private and removed house with personal access to its own beach and cove. Surrounded by a soundproof fence, this 1-bedroom, 1-bath bungalow, sleeps two to four people, offering a romantic, relaxing, and very private getaway. Within the Riverhouse’s compound, the Garden Shed is available for Riverhouse guests to rent as well. This offers an additional bed and half bath for an extra two people.
Bird watchers, artists, kayakers, fisherman, sailors, windsurfers and train enthusiasts all have enjoyed their stay here. If relaxation is what you need, curl up by the stone fireplace with a good book and from the grand front picture window watch the river-life pass by. Or meander down to the beach to collect rocks, shells and beach glass while soaking your feet in the cool river waves. Railroad tracks run along both sides of the Columbia River making trains part of the gorge culture and experience. To decrease the noise offer privacy, a soundproofing fence has been installed around the Riverhouse property.
The Garden Shed! – For an additional fee you can rent “The Garden Shed” for overflow of Riverhouse guests. This house is separate, in the same compound and only available for Riverhouse renters. The Garden Shed has a queen bed with toilet and sink. Walk out onto your private deck and into your own outdoor shower.

Property Description
Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because the Osprey spent the summer hovering and watching us build the treehouse. This 400 square foot Octagon is built around a single grand old Douglas Fir that is 42” in diameter and is 30 feet above the ground. There are oversized windows and a sliding door that give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. The entrance into the treehouse is level and parking is close.
This treehouse was built using local wood resources – Douglas Fir timbers milled by Anderson’s Custom Sawing, NW Cedar both Red and Port Orford line the walls and trim, Reclaimed Gorge Ponderosa Pine, Cherry, Maple and Alder round out a true all wood structure. Family owned and privately operated, Skamania Coves offers a unique and special place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature, wildlife, the Columbia River, and its surrounding areas.
Nestled on 30 acres of riverside property, we have 7 luxurious vacation homes and RV spaces to choose from – each with its own spectacular river view and use of waterfront coves. Located one mile east of the charming town of Stevenson, makes easy shopping for groceries, gifts, eating out, and boat launching. A quick drive to Cascade Locks, Hood River, Carson, and White Salmon offers more shopping, delicious restaurants, wineries, breweries, as well as nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, windsurfing, sailing, etc.
Our homes provide guests with fully equipped kitchens, one to two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa (sleeping for a maximum of six people). Other amenities include heated floors, gas fireplaces, large outside patios with sitting, propane barbeques, Starlink Internet, Dish TV, games, parking for two vehicles, plus so much more. Two-night minimum stay. No Smoking in homes or on property.
